It tells the story of Christian the Lion and the two men, John Rendall and Anthony 'Ace' Bourke, who bought him in 1969, as a cub, from Harrod's department store. As he grew, they realised they could no longer keep him and decided to return him to the wild. They contacted George Adamson (The Lion Man) of Born Free Foundation and left Christian in his capable care, to be introduced to the life he was meant to live. Despite naysayers cautioning them that Christian would not recognise them, after a year, they returned to visit him and see how he was acclimating to his life as leader of his pride. This video shows how connected every living being on this planet we inhabit, truly is and how love transcends borders and barriers.
